Super Shop assistant stops shoplifters!
Thanks to a gutsy 17 year old store assistant three shoplifters were caught, on two separate occasions, in one day!!
On the first occasion two male shoplifters left the store, triggering the alarms. The assistant ran after the men, giving very clear descriptions of them and the direction they were headed, making excellent use of the radio link system. This enabled the Police to be on the scene swiftly and both of the offenders, from out of town, were apprehended.
On the second occasion she followed a male shoplifter and on having seen him drop the goods,once again made good use of the radio link system and gave an excellent description. With the help of CCTV and a PCSO he was, also, arrested. On both occasions all the goods were recovered.
